The people behind the method

VocoScript was built for one reason: experts who have real knowledge to share should not be stopped by a blank page.

The origin

VocoScript started with a problem that had no good solution. Experts with 20 to 30 years of knowledge, with real transformation to offer, were sitting on unpublished books. Not because they lacked ideas. Because writing a book the traditional way asks you to work against your own brain.

Knowledge lives in experts as a network of stories, examples, frameworks, and lived experience. Writing asks you to convert that rich, interconnected knowledge into linear prose, alone, in silence, from a blank page. Most experts cannot do it sustainably. And so the book stays unwritten.

The Talk-It-Out method came from a simple observation: the same expert who cannot write a chapter can talk about that topic for an hour without stopping. The knowledge is there. The barrier is format. VocoScript removes that barrier.

The approach

VocoScript is built on three convictions. First: your expertise is already fully formed. It does not need to be invented, only extracted. Second: speaking is the natural channel for expert knowledge, not writing. Third: Claude AI is the most powerful writing partner available, when you know how to use it.

The system is not a shortcut. It is a different path to the same destination: a complete, polished, publication-ready manuscript that represents your expertise at its best.

The team

VocoScript is led publicly by Jan, who brings more than 25 years of experience in content, publishing, and expert positioning. Jan is the voice and face of the business, the editorial standard behind The Authority Brief, and the primary support contact for VocoScript members.

Principles

What we believe about books and expertise

Expertise is not writing ability

The value of your book lies in what you know, not how fluently you can write. The system handles the writing. You provide the knowledge.

A book is a credential, not a product

Published authors access opportunities that non-authors cannot. Speaking stages. Media attention. Premium positioning. A book changes what is possible.

The process should match how experts think

Experts think in conversations. The Talk-It-Out method works with that reality, not against it. Speaking is the input. A manuscript is the output.

AI amplifies expertise, it does not replace it

Claude AI structures and writes. Your knowledge, your stories, and your voice are the source material. The output is yours because the input is yours.

Publishing should not require a traditional publisher

Independent publishing via IngramSpark gives authors full control, worldwide distribution, and better economics than traditional contracts provide.

A published book is a beginning

Publication is the starting line for platform, audience, and income, not the finish line. The Missing Chapter exists because most authors do not have a system for what comes next.

Intelligence for experts who are ready to be known.
